Job title         Trading Assistant

Salary              Salary Dependent on experience

Location         Tregothnan Estate, Truro, Cornwall

Contract         Full or part time hours considered

Job Duties & Tasks:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Put together sales campaigns with emails, letters and samples
  • Update and correspond from Media Masterfile.
  • To assist in building successful relationships with new and existing Tregothnan customers, growing market share through the relevant customer, category and shopper growth drivers.
  • To build strong relationships via traditional means such as phone and email as well as innovative new methods.
  • To continuously improve Tregothnan’s financial performance through customer behaviours, (impacting, for example, excellent and responsive communication, maintain the highest standard expected of the luxury brand and our customers).
  • To help deliver and exceed against sales, margin and investment plans

Key Tasks:

  • Record and maintain a database for CRM to include:
    • Key Contacts
    • Business type
    • Product range
    • Potential
  • Take new customer enquiries, assess long term potential and cross selling opportunities e.g. tea, holiday cottages, charcoal and honey.
  • Attend customer events.
  • Efficiently and accurately input customer orders into the system within the appropriate timescales.
  • Answer and transfer internal and external telephone calls in line with company standards.
  • Manage customer complaints and service queries in the correct way using internal system.
  • Seek out opportunities to delight our customers.
  • Provide excellent copy for use in sales & marketing literature and the company website.

Essential Experience

  • Writing letters to an excellent standard

Job title     Woodsman

Salary Salary Dependent on experience

Location Tregothnan Estate, Truro, Cornwall

Contract Permanent Position 39 Hours per week

This is a great opportunity for the right individual to fulfil their full potential and development at a very exciting period of time in the history of woodland management on the estate.   The work will be varied and cover all aspects of woodland management in a challenging natural environment, from small scale harvesting to tree planting, establishment and maintenance in predominantly broadleaf woodland and will also include some arboricultural work.

Job title     Charcoal Assistant

Salary Salary dependent on experience

Location Tregothnan Estate, Mereworth, Kent

Contract Permanent Position Flexible Hours to include Saturdays

We are seeking a Charcoal Assistant to work predominantly within the Charcoal business assisting the charcoal production manager with the day to day production of charcoal and maintenance of the on-site equipment . In addition to this the new resource will also work on average one day a week with the Kent Wood Reeve managing the estates woodlands (planting, weeding, cutting down trees) As well as assisting with general maintenance and gardening throughout the Kent Estate as and when required.
